RENEWING COMMUNITY TRUST

"We must change the culture at Wichita City Hall. Insiders and special interests have far too much influence, and Wichita taxpayers are ignored."

—  Brandon Whipple

IMPROVE CITY TRANSPARENCY & PARTICIPATION

A top priority will be to change the culture of City Hall from a place of insider deals made behind closed doors to a transparent and professional body that is accountable to all people in our community.

IMPROVE PUBLIC SAFETY OUTCOMES

I will focus on examining our resources and moving to properly increase funding for our police. Further, we must coordinate mental health services more effectively, so the WPD is not expected to deal with that burden alone.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS FOR EVERYONE

If Wichita is going to succeed in the 21st Century, we must welcome everyone. Excluding people from participating in our economy and our community only hurts Wichita’s ability to compete in a 21st Century global marketplace.

INVEST IN WICHITA

Before we can convince others to invest in Wichita, we must invest in ourselves. The key to a strong city is strong neighborhoods. For too long, there has been divestment in Wichita's neighborhood resources and civic infrastructure. Wichita must invest in our neighborhood resources like swimming pools, splash pads, libraries, and City assets like museums, world-class performing arts, and convention facilities.
